The delivery of the ‘Astra-G’ and her sister ship ‘Aquarius-G’ to PT Suar Tujuh Samudra in 2013 marked a significant milestone in the development of Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs). These vessels were the first of their kind to be purpose-built with double propulsion systems, ensuring higher reliability and enhanced maneuverability to meet demanding offshore operations.

Following the successful completion and launch of both vessels, PT Suar Tujuh Samudra continued its fleet expansion with the construction of 7-Oceans, 7-Stars, and 7-Waves, which were launched in 2014 and 2015. This strategic development reflects the company’s commitment to continuous innovation and operational excellence in the offshore support sector.

Combined with the existing fleet of support vessels, this newbuilding program, all carrying ICE-class notation, has enabled PT Suar Tujuh Samudra to operate a modern and versatile fleet capable of delivering a wide range of offshore services on a global scale.
